Jenny Yu
Director | Registered Landscape Architect
As the lead at JF Studio, Jenny has over 12 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors in Australia, China, and the US. Her expertise is the application of micro-climate principles and sustainable landscape strategies in landscape planning and design projects.
Jenny is sought after because of her cutting-edge design skills and her passion for creating efficient and effective landscape solutions for her clients. She is well known for her ability to quickly read and understand her client's needs.
Jenny has experience in academic research and teaching at both the University of Melbourne and RMIT. Her research in GIS applications investigates developing climate responsive planning strategies for future sustainable development at regional and town scale. Various analysis tools have been applied in her research and practice. She has brought her research into practical projects and established scientific evidence and methodology to achieve sustainability in JF projects.
With Jenny's leadership, JF Studio has grown exceptionally awarded government projects in Australia and competition prizes internationally.
Jenny is responsible for management of all project phases, leading planning and design directions, supervising, reviewing and preparing deliverables, client/sub-consultant liaison and document control and review at all project phases.
